Travel with us

Salento Bici Tour doesn’t just show you the way, they take you on a journey exploring your senses through their knowledge of the Puglia region, and all of its hidden gems” –Amanda Terry November 2014

If you travel with us, you'll meet the baker who uses an ancient Italian method to produce one-of-a-kind pastries, the restaurateur with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine, the economist-turned-farmer who has left finance to devote himself to the land, and the university graduate-turned-craftsman who has revived an ancient art.
The beauty of the Region
The beautiful Salento summer, which begins in March and ends in November,  has  smooth near-flat terrain, which can be appreciated by all.  Those with families, or those without much cycling experience to the experienced cyclist, will be filled with gratitude as they pedaling their way through the beautiful olive groves, with the sea always at their feet. The region offers plenty things to do and see which make the Salento the perfect destination for a cycling holiday for people with diverse interests.
We are driven by passion
The Mediterranean cuisine, the fine Negroamaro wine, and the beautiful ocean sunsets are a few more reasons... but we know delicious food, wine and sunsets may be found elsewhere. However, Salento Bici Tour offers something you can only find here: our people. Being from the region, our Tour guides take you on an experience to really get to know the region: its people, its culture, its traditions and the stories that bring it all to life.
Passion drives us. We are a group of friends who have returned to our home region in order to promote sustainable development of the land, and to rediscover our home accompanied by travellers from all over the world. We know our land intimately and we want to show it to you in what we think is the best way possible: by bike.
We care about Sustainable Development
Salento Bici Tour is first of all a project with a focus on environmental education. We aim to encourage the use of bicycles among local society, and to encourage everyone - both travellers and locals - to reflect on how our civilization interacts with our environment.
For us, Salento Bici Tour is not just a project: it is our way of life. We want to share who the people of Salento are, and in that process get to know people from unfamiliar cultures. We hope you would like to share this experience, whether for just a few days, or a beautiful week long trip, we know that either way you will not be disappointed.
